Prayer
God, I need to say something and I am not sure I have the words yet. I just know something has to be said. I have been carrying it around, trying to figure out how to say it without it going wrong. I have not figured that out yet. And I am afraid. I am afraid of the reaction. I am afraid they will think I am being difficult. I am afraid of the silence that might come after. Mostly I am afraid that I will say it and then feel guilty for the rest of the week. But I think it needs to be said. I do not need to say it perfectly. I just need to say it. Be with me when I do. Help me stay in the room after I say it, even if the room gets uncomfortable.
